Is this correct?

I just signed up on the 4th aug. & it is going to be a new line & BB & call package which came to £61,but checking my bank they have only taken out the £49.99 for the new line,i am confused here. Huh
I hope this new BB setup  has not been messed up. Lips_are_sealed

Re: Is this correct?

I think the £49.99 charge will be the cost for the line. Once that is installed they'll charge another £11.99 line rental. Is Broadband being done as a simultaneous provide or sequentially? In either case it will be charged from activation date (pro-rata to next billing date if provided sequentially).
You should find detailed invoices in the Member Centre under Account details -> Transactions (link) and closed tickets explaining what is going on in Help Assistant -> View your questions (link). Click the Go button to list closed questions for the date range specified.

Re: Is this correct?

I know the £49.99 is for the line installation, but when i went through it all on the phone i gave my bank details to the guy & he said it comes to £61 for the line & BB & anytime calls & that would be taken out as you pay in advance. Huh

Re: Is this correct?

Yes, the charges are in advance - but not ahead. They don't make the charge until the service is being provided, so the total mentioned by the agent can be taken in chunks.
If you leave this until Monday a member of the Digital Care Team will probably be along to provide an update on what is happening.

Re: Is this correct?

Hi there,
Spraxyt is right, we charge you when each service goes active so you can expect respective bits of the £61 charge to be taken as that happens. Hope that does help, and if there's anything further we can do please let us know.

Re: Is this correct?

Hmm, looks like that's down to supplier issues I'm afraid. We are chasing them (looks like there was an update on the ticket today) but unfortunately until we get any more details we can't really advise. I'll see what we can do about chasing them further.
