I'm trying to log in to the main site to pay an outstanding bill, but I can't.
~]$ ping -c 2 plus.net

From portal.plus.net (212.159.8.2) icmp_seq=1 Destination Port Unreachable
From portal.plus.net (212.159.8.2) icmp_seq=2 Destination Port Unreachable
Is it just down for me or others?

I can't reach it, nor can I send e-mails or access https://www.pclinuxos. Everything gets diverted to http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed which fails to connect.
I was only informed about the billing problem this morning, but already PN seem to be blocking my access, even to the bill-paying portal. What happened to the 14 days the e-mail said I had to make the payment?

Which produces:
HTTP/1.1 307 Temporary Redirect
Connection: close
Location: http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed
So there we are. PN Intercepts the request, redirects me to its own site and then sends a Connection: close header to ensure I can't get in.

I have now been able to pay by card on the phone and have been told the restrictions will be lifted within four hours. Given they were imposed after about that time when I was told no sanctions would be applied for a fortnight, I hope that doesn't mean it will take fourteen days to do what they said should take four hours.
While I can understand blocking the general service, it makes no sense to block the PN site so people can't even pay their bill or sort out other problems without phoning in to Customer Service.
