I cannot find out how to do this - 30 minutes on phone then cut off!!!!

Unless a staff member picks this up, you’re stuck with trying to do it over the phone.
There isn’t a way to cancel it in the member centre.

Thanks for letting me know - looks like I'll be setting aside some time tomorrow again then.... how annoying that they don't allow you to remove this add-on online. They allow you to manage all other add-ons in the portal, but not BT Sports....
