I don't know what this means!! Should I worry about it?

I got a thing on the questions bit of my account saying
The customer's Phone order has returned from BT in a REJECTED state. Reject reasons: (2247 : Preferred Date is earlier than the Minimum Order Date. )

I don't understand what this means. Can anyone help and is there anything I can do to sort it out because I miss nice shiney broadband and want to get it asap.
Thanks Grin

Re: I don't know what this means!! Should I worry about it?

Welcome aboard Shaunpanda.
To cut to the chase, yes it is something to worry about. It's probably more of a concern to us than it is you though! Wink
Basically we discovered last night that all recently placed 'start' orders for customer's phone lines have been getting rejected at the supplier level. We've spoke to them and they're not sure why this is happening so we're in the process of sending them some output from our systems to see if it helps with their diagnosis. An internal problem has been opened to track progress (ref: 62694).
I'll try and place the phone order manually for you now...
Edit: order now placed, it should hopefully complete later today or tomorrow. Once it does I'll place the broadband order for you.

Thanks a lot guys. I don't spose you know when (if the order gets processed) I'll be ready to start surfing this wonderful web? I can't be doing with this dongle for much longer.

The broadband order will take seven days, starting from when the telephone order completes. We requested the telephone order to complete today but it's not done yet. We'll have another look later on.

Your number hasn't shown as active for a broadband order so we'll allow our system to place it automatically for you tomorrow.

Shaun, the voice service should now be active and I've queued your broadband order for submission. With any luck, that will be up and running by next Wednesday. I'll continue to keep an eye on things for you...
