I Switched Landline and you cancelled my third party call provider?

I recently upgraded to Fibre (totally regretting this move) after being a Plusnet customer for many years, i moved my land line to comply with the charges, but they have switched my third party call provider in the process without my knowledge and i have now ended up with a £34 bill!

Transferring your line to Plusnet would not transfer any agreements you had with your previous supplier (such as automatic insertion of indirect dialling codes).

Hi deefadog,
Unfortunately when you change telephone providers any services you previously had would not transfer over to us.

Was he told that at the point of sale?

Re: I Switched Landline and you cancelled my third party call provider?

Why would he/she be told about it - as it is a third-party setup and he/she obviously did not ask the relevant question?
I also don't understand
Quote from: deefadog
...  moved my land line to comply with the charges

as there is no requirement to comply, just a surcharge if you use a different telephone provider, also
Quote from: deefadog
...  they have switched my third party call provider

is probably inaccurate as PN are unlikely to introduce a third party call provider and lose revenue - though there could be some missing words.
