How long to wait for a new router?

I've been waiting over 7 working days for a new router to arrive - is there any way of checking the status? My account simply says dispatched.

once it's despatched it comes first class post, so usually next day or the day thereafter, for most people.

That doesn't sound good - is there any way of requesting another to be sent without spending all day waiting to get through on the phone? 🙂
