How long for refund after cancellation?

I switched from Plusnet to BT on 9th December 2018, which activated with BT on 24th December 2018. I can see my final bill on my Plusnet account page is a minus balance indicating that I am owed that money. I would like to know when I should expect this money to be refunded, as I have received zero communication from Plusnet since I initiated the switch and changed ISP.
Plusnet really should send an email at the very least with information for leaving customers on what to expect out of the process.
