How long do Plusnet need to change the direct debit details on the account

I tried search and haven't found the answer and the change Direct Debit page on my account doesn't help

Ii isn't a problem I just would like to give enough time and, while I am on the subject which date should I be starting from

-  the invoice date or when it actually leaves the bank account

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

From what I've read on the fora @Oldjim I'd say anything up to 10 days, and I would go by the earliest date, which I assume is the Invoice.

A direct debit instruction can take up to 10 working days to be setup.

A direct debit usually processes a payment within 7 working days from when it's submitted to your bank, which, due to the direct debit guarantee, is 3 working days after your invoice date.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
