How Long for a New Referral?

Should be a quick question ..
A friend of mine is getting broadband for the first time and I recommended PlusNet. He signed up by phone on Wednesday to BBYW Option 2 and gave my username as a referral (at least he said he did :D).
It's not showing up for me on 'Current Referrals' from the portal yet. His line is due to be activated on the 31st Jan.
Am I correct in assuming it'll come up at that time?
