House Move without Disconnection

Hi,
We have been living in a flat (and receiving Plusnet phone/internet) while our builder carries out renovation works at our house.
We would like to get everything set up and installed at the house (including installation of the BT Master Socket etc) before we move back into the house.  Among other reasons, our builders would like this to be done now so they can keep the wiring tidy.
I rang up the Plusnet house move team and they told me the only way they can do this is by sending out an engineer to do this on the day we want the service to be transferred across.  If we did this now, then we would lose phone/internet access at the flat we are living in for the time we are still there which would be really inconvenient.
Is there any way we can get everything set up and installed at the new house now, and then when we actually move back in (date TBC but hoping mid/late March), we can then just get the service switched across?
Thank you in advance!

Welcome to the forums.
Unfortunately in order to have a new line installed at a property is to have an account linked to that address and as you already have one at the moment the far easiest would be to have these services transferred, as if you open a new account for the property you are moving too then you would have any cancellation fee's to also consider when closing your current account. Also moving services over can take around 10 -14 days dependant on engineer availability.
