Hi @videoscape

Thanks for getting in touch.

I've just removed the restrictions from your account, so you should be able to browse normally and make a manual payment on the 30th.

Best wishes

Dave

Fix

Thanks for getting back to us @videoscape

No problem, I've sorted this out for you now.

Moving forward it may be worth considering changing your bill date, you should be able to do that by going Here once the outstanding balance has been cleared. If you get any issues feel free to PM me the date you'd want your bill to generate on and I'll be happy to pass this to our billing team to manually change it this side.

When choosing a bill date if you pay by direct debit, it's worth bearing in mind a payment will normally be taken around 5 working days after a bill has generated as opposed to card payments which go through almost instantly.

I hope this helps.

Re: Having issues loading sites ( http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed)

Hello, on several sites I get the failed.billing.plus.net refused to connect page. When I go to pay from the email link  https://www.plus.net/pay/  I get

This site can’t be reached

www.plus.net refused to connect.

Can't browse can't pay. Please can you look into and sort this out please. Thanks

Re: Having issues loading sites ( http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed)

Managed to get this sorted after a phone call to customer services, it's a billing issue.

Last week I was told to cancel my Direct Debit (by a customer services adviser)  to avoid paying an incorrectly calculated Bill. This was a BAD move. Immediately I got emails telling me that  I had no payment method set up and two working days later my account was put on restrictive access.

It seems that when plusnet owe you money it is very difficult to get it resolved. However when they perceive that you owe them money, the actions are immediate!

Re: Having issues loading sites ( http://failed.billing.plus.net/apps/payment/failed)

@videoscape If the plusnet computer thinks your bill has not been paid OR you have not set up a payment method, then it will automatically put you onto a restricted service. In my case it was TWO days after I cancelled my D/Debit.

Ring Customer Service 0800 432 0200 and they can notify the relevant team to remove your restriction the next morning. If you set up A Direct Debit, this problem should not happen to you again.

It seems that Computers are now running the business and it is difficult for humans to intervene.
