I left Plusnet on the 6th August and moved to BT.
Normal Plusnet bill used to arrive by email on the 5th to go out maybe I don't know a week later, so I assume that I should have owed Plusnet one/two days max, can't be more as I started to pay BT from the 6th.
So in the first instance got an email saying I was getting what is owed me, £0.34, rang up and spoke to someone, (won't give name here), he agreed after discussion that it's possibly wrong, then got new email saying Plusnet now owes me the grand sum of £1.59 refund - WHAT!
Then I get a number to track this issue, 109518715, problem is I can't access my account to post any further details, or track it, so would a Plusnet Staff member, or Mod please look into this for me and let me know.
Many thanks indeed to you.

Well I received the big cheque today, £0.34, going to seek financial advice on what to do with it after just waiting for G4S to arrive and escort me.
Actually not going to do much with it yet as I feel there are 'problems' still with my last payment Plusnet took and partially refunded, if this is a refund.
I wonder if anyone's looked in to this for me yet please because as I posted the account I'm now on, Generic, I'm unable to post any more info nor login to my account to see if there's anything else posted on that ticket, reference number again 109518715.
Thanks a lot to whoever does look at this for me.

You should now be able to log in to the member centre to leave comments on tickets, as I've re-activated your account. Looks like it was cancelled again (by our billing team this time >:() when the refund issued.
I've not got an answer on the refund yet and I've got to run off to a meeting in the next few minutes, however I'll look in to that as soon as I'm back.
EDIT: I've had a word with someone on our billing team and the remaining £1.25 will be sent out for you.
I think the guy who issued the initial refund mistook your referral discount on the bill as part of the £1.59 refund that had already been sent through.

Thanks HarryB for what you've done really appreciate it cheers again for that and billing need a boot up the proverbial possibly
Right re the remaining £1.25 I was aware that there was another couple of bob, according to Plusnet, but that was the query I suppose that considering when I left, 6th August, my bills where generally a week or so after I received the email on the 5th, now to me it seems weird that of the money I paid monthly, £8.62 (I think!), I'm only getting £1.25 + £0.34 I already have.
I know we're talking pennies but it's the principle that matters to me, as surely you can see it doesn't add up, so little refund for one day at Plusnet.
Many thanks to you.

I think there's some confusion around your actual billing date. It was actually the 11th of each month, and judging from the Service Notice on the account, the emails came through to you on the 11th, not the 5th
Since you're services left on the 6th, we owed you 5 days of service. The other error that was made (But we'll keep this one secret ;)) is that the refund of £1.59 was actually worked out prior to taking off your referral discount. So the total refunded is actually slightly higher than it should have been.

Well I must say again thanks HarryB though I will be perfectly honest and can't understand the thinking/working out?
I'll try and write it all down and put it on paper, it may make sense
Cheers.
