Hi guys,
My Full Fibre contract is due to end in July and I'm considering my options from July. I presently also pay for NetFlix and Amazon Prime.
I'm considering moving to Sky inc. Netflix as the combination would save me a fair amount each month.
With Plusnet I've never remotely got close to 500Mbs so Sky's 300Mbs wouldn't be such a downgrade in speed.
Does Plusnet offer anything similar?

I see both 300Mb/s & 500Mb/s on offer if I look at possible upgrades.
The 300Mb/s is only a pound a month cheaper however.
Phone up, do the "I'm leaving" thing and see if a better price emerges.
You might mention that Sky seems to offer £32 a month and a £70 voucher on a 500Mb/s service (source Money Supermarket) when you call....

Yesterday afternoon the telephone wait time was 40 minutes, this morning 30 minutes and just now 15:20 20 minutes!
Does Plusnet seriously believe and expect people to be glued to the phone for this long?
I'm leaving Plusnet and even trying to leave just takes an age!!

You do not need to tell plusnet you want to leave unless you're trying to get a better price.
'One Touch Switch' is in place to handle everything for you, the gaining provider handles everything for you.

Starting the switch process might prompt a call from plusnets retention team.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
