First payment / Subscription payment

Hello, I am a new customer on a broadband only subscription (just sent PlusNet my MAC number today) and was looking at the order tracking process. One thing caught my attention:
the current status...
Quote
First payment    |    We're taking a first payment of £37.48 for your account.

... the final step in the process...
Quote
Subscription payment    |    We'll take the first subscription payment for your broadband service.

If my "First payment" includes the set-up fee (£25) and the first month's unlimited internet fee (£12.50) then why is the last stage phrased the way it is? The wording is not clear to me as it implies that I will need to pay a the first month again (" first subscription payment"). Can someone clear this up?

Re: First payment / Subscription payment

Hi intio,
Welcome aboard Smiley
Apologies if the language used seems a little confusing.
Even though both payments include the monthly payment for broadband only the second is viewed as being a subscription payment as that's taken 30 days on from the activation of the account which is then set as the regular monthly billing date.
I hope that helps clear things up and thanks for the feedback on this.
