First Monthly payment taken early

Hello, I signed up for you broadband service on 1st October 2020 and the first month's charge was taken immediately. My live date is not untill 5th November 2020. Meaning I have payed twice for broadband services this month one to plusnet and another to my current provider. Why has this happened? Please contact me to explain. Regards

Re: First Monthly payment taken early

Your first payment is the first month after your service goes live. The next payment will be 1 month later. I presume that your service with your existing provider will cease when your service with Plusnet activates so there’ll be no overlap.

Re: First Monthly payment taken early

@Thrall  Not quite right, the first payment is taken on sign up, but the second is a month after the service goes live.

As ISP's charge in advance, there will always be a double payment, but then a month payment free after transfer.
