Exceeded Usage - Will I still be billed for my "free" hours?

Hello forum!  Smiley
I am on an old package with Plusnet which I have just upgraded - though this won't come into effect until my next billing date.
I've hammered my free usage amount so am currently being billed for all the extra gb's used.
My free period is from midnight to 8am.
My question is - if I download anything between these hours, will I still be charged?
Thanks in advance!!

well your first post doesnt read correct, you have said you are paying extra for the Free, - it is FREE and not paid for

My first post doesn't read correctly.
I've used my free allowance during my peak times so anything I use now during peak times, I am billed for.
I was checking that if I download anything during off-peak, it will still be free.

you have an allowance during the peak time, and you pay for that with your broad band fee, it is not free - every thing between midnight and 8 am is free and has no allowance.
Its a question of terminology

As you are on an old product I assume it is the one where there was a defined allowance at peak time and a separate allowance for off peak.
Strictly speaking the off-peak isn't free.
Whether the two allowances are independent in the way you hope I have no idea.
Can you advise which product are you on at present

On that product as far as I can see you don't have a free allowance limit so you can't have used it.
Therefore any usage in the free period won't be counted and won't be charged
