Engineer visit charge

I had an engineer visit on the 4th Jan. He done all the checks where the router was and broadband just about passed speed checks so he then checked the wiring outside which was all fine. After at first been unable to find the master socket he has then replaced it with a BT one. And reconnected the router in the now master socket after figuring out where it was in the flat after looking at all 3 sockets. However, i still havent heard if i will be charged and my bill is due to be generated today (22/01/2021). How soon should i know about possible charges?

Re: Engineer visit charge

I would suspect you would have heard by now - the engineer should have filed the report the same day and that's what would have generated any charges.

You don't get a notification that you won't be charged, so in this case no news is good news.

Re: Engineer visit charge

Got to wait for the bill apparently to know about any charges due so must not get an email beforehand
