End of contract direct debit cancellation

Hi,

I am swapping my service to BT at the end of my contract next month. As I paid upfront for my service, surely this means I do not owe anymore money. I cancelled my direct debit and I'm now receiving emails saying you need my card details or I may be charged.

Please confirm I do not need to renew my card details.

Obviously replying to the email is futile and the last time I phoned in I had to wait 40 minutes, live chat isn't working so here I am.

Many thanks

Re: End of contract direct debit cancellation

If you have a phone service with Plusnet then the DD would still be used to collect any charges for calls made.

Also, any poetential refunds would be made via the DD system.

Having card details should facilitate the above.

Re: End of contract direct debit cancellation

Hi there,

Sorry to hear you're leaving us.

Once your service has been migrated away, we'll work out your final bill which may include any early termination charges if you're within contract.
