I have recently applied to move over to a new Internet service provider. My Plusnet contract is due to end 10th July 2020 (with a go live date of 21st July with new ISP). I have received both written and email confirmation that I am leaving before the end of my minimum term and will therefore incur termination charges. I have phoned Plusnet on several occasions, the last being 4th July and they have confirmed that my contract will have expired (10th July) but due to a glitch on the system I have received correspondence advising of early termination charges. A complaint was logged at that time (ticket 203505568) in an attempt to stop this. I have not heard anything since and do not intend to pay any fees through no fault of my own and this would surely be in breach of contract from Plusnet. Could someone from Plusnet please look into this and confirm that I will not be charged any early termination fees.
