Downgrading Fibre

Hello,
What is the best way to downgrade my existing fibre connection? We originally signed up through top cashback for the 76/19.5 connection but our line can only handle 40/6
40/6 is great but I would like to downgrade to the 38/19.5 connection to save a few pennies, My members center says the following when I try to switch but will not give me the option to change...
Quote
THIS IS YOUR CURRENT BROADBAND PACKAGE
Unlimited Fibre Extra£19.99
per month
Unlimited Usage Allowance
48.1Mb download speed (estimated)
12.6Mb upload speed (estimated)
You've 12 months left of your 18 contract
Designed for demanding users

What is the best course of action...

Re: Downgrading Fibre

As you're in month 12, of an 18 month contract, you won't be able to downgrade.

Re: Downgrading Fibre

Your best bet is to call Customer Options and see what they will offer - it will require a new contract

    0330 123 9197
    8am - 8pm Monday to Friday
    9am - 7pm Saturday
