Double Charge on Line Rental saver

Having signed up for a new contract which included line rental I expected to get credit for the line rental I had paid in advance. 

I am told that will not happen.  Will be leaving plusnet shortly

I suspect you've been wrongly advised. If you had line rental saver in force and have recontracted then the LRS will continue to it's normal expiry and your monthly subscription would be reduced by the monthly line rental amount.

I'm sure that one if the PN help team will be along shortly to clarify the situation.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Hi @bozzle, sorry to hear that you have been advised this.

 

If you are still within your LRS period when you chose to re contract the outstanding duration of LRS will also be honoured on your new contract.

 

I hope this clarifies any previous misinformation, please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist you.
