Do PN staff ever read notes on the accounts?

i asked for a house move but was told over a week for  engineer appointment.... fair enough that cant be helped..
but i was due to move out 2 or 3 days later
so i asked for my services at my old address to be terminated ...
yesterday someone from PN opens a ticket axing me for the 40 quid for the modem and wanting to cancel my account! and early termination fees!
do your staff know how to read notes or what?
or would you rather someone els use my services and risk a 3d breach of data protection on my account?........
.... P.S regarding the ticket i still  want a manager call back tonight

The Digital Care guys who monitor this forum won't be back on duty until Monday morning.
You may be lucky if one of them is doing a bit of 'overtime'.

Dear Mr Devonport,
This email is to confirm that your cancellation request has been
processed. Your account with us will finish on 30/04/2012.
This is a email i got from PN on friday.... AFTER a manager booked me a engineer for the 26th to activate my new line..... so the point of the engineer is what exactly?
Going to love to see my bill on the 30th... and if this gets fixed before then im going to love to see what plus nets excuse is for this happening

Hi warbleeder,
Really sorry about what's happened here, however it looks like this is in hand with one of our faults team managers and it'd probably be best for us to leave it with him - of course if there's anything we can do please let us know.
I'm happy to see that the cancellation has been stopped too.
