Due to the impending charges for card payments I have set up a direct debit, the DD status is shown as active but my cards are still showing primary and secondary payment methods. Does a DD automatically take priority over card payments or should I now delete the cards, I'm a bit worried about doing the latter as I understand there should always be 2 payment methods in case the primary method fails.

Hi Paul,
I'm in the same position and have been told that DD is used if it is set up and not CC.

That is my understanding also.
However, I would recommend keeping at least one card on the system for the next few months in case there is an issue with DD (especially the first payment). The card will be used if the DD cannot be taken. Once the DD is working fine you can remove all card details.

Ok, thanks for the replies. I'll keep the cards on there just in case of a problem.
