Direct debit cancellation email
However, I've had an email saying me direct debit has been cancelled, but I'm not certain it's a scam email.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have checked your account to see if we have sent any information in regards to the direct debit. Is this the email / ticket that you are referring to?
Usually when an account is set up and the direct debit instruction is sent to your bank, it can take between 5 - 7 working days to be accepted. Therefore, if this is time-frame that you received the email it is likely that the instruction failed to set up and the email is valid.
