Direct Debit Date Change Possible ?

Hi, I only signed up this morning with Plusnet for fibre, already with them for mobile.

 

I like my direct debits  to be at the beginning of the month, if it doesn't fall at the beginning of the month is it possible to change it at all?

 

I did a search and it seems that it's only possible with mobile.

 

Any advice ?

 

And signing up today, any idea when the direct debit might be ?

The direct debit date will get set as the date your service goes live.

 

Generally, no, you can't change the direct debit date at the moment. It causes issues.

Thanks ScottStorey I wish I'd signed up a few days later now, my 'Live' date is supposed to be the 28th September.

Hello there.

 

Whilst we can't guarantee a specific activation date, we can delay your transfer to [for example] the 1st October. All being well, your account should activate then and that becomes your billing date.

 

Note, that a direct debit payment usually leaves your bank 5-7 working days after your billing date. But if you pay by card then it should be taken on the billing date [at a surcharge of £1.50 though].

Gandalf, if you could try for the 1st of October, that would be perfect thanks.

I would just prefer my billing date & direct debit payment to be at the beginning of the month.

Please let me know what details you require.
