Deferred Referral

A couple of weeks ago a friend switched to Plusnet phone & BB on my recommendation.
It is now up and running fine and I have every confidence it will continue.
I asked the friend to inform Plusnet that I'd recommended them in a couple of months if they are still happy.
Will I still get referral benefits inspite of the delay ?

wont do any harm if they tell PN now, you wont get any money until their first billing date, and you will loose it when they leave

That's fine,
The only pitfall with this as PP mentions is that you will have missed out on a couple of month's of referral credit. Just raise a ticket on each account when you're ready.

I thought it shouldn't be a problem.
I realise I'm missing out but I feel happier with them having some time to realise they have a good service.
