Current contract end and package change

As has been said a few times, those of us on existing contracts will remain on say the 40/20 package for the remainder of the current contract period.
When that contract period expires will we be notified of any changes moving forward like a reduction or change to the new 40/2 product?
I'm concerned that when the time comes I will be automatically renewed and if I'm moved to 40/2 I would be in a termination fee clause period.
If I am to be downgraded at contract end I would like the opportunity to look elsewhere to get a better upload speed.
Let's be careful out there !

Re: Current contract end and package change

The answer you got to this question a week ago hasn't changed Wink
Your product terms stay the same at the end of your minimum period and will not change unless you elect to re-contract with different terms.  Your current contract has a minimum term and then 30 day terms once the period has elapsed so you are still within contract.

That makes it clearer.
On that basis I'll shut up and more than likely stay put
Thanks

Re: Current contract end and package change

As pwatson has stated unless you recontract or move properties the speeds won't change.
