Credit threshold topup "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator"

An unusual month and I'm using my 'phone more than usual thus have received a credit threshold reminder email.

Attempted to increase the threshold but get the message "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator"

I don't want to get billed for breaching my limit. Has anyone encountered this?

regards,

Colin

Hi Colin,

Sorry to hear the system is having an issue and you're unable to increase your credit threshold limit.

If you give our billing team a quick call on 0330 1239 123, they would be able to have a quick chat with you in regards to this issue, they will also be able to manually increase the credit threshold to a limit of your choice.

Re: Credit threshold topup "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator&q

I tried again online and the fault remains.

I managed to find a freephone number 0800-432-0200 rather than the chargeable services number suggested.

It took a bit of explaining to get the issue understood but the limit request was passed to a backoffice team for implementing.

I've had another email warning me of exceeding the credit threshold. The limit has not been changed.

This is poor service from Plusnet!

I need the higher threshold stated by phone and confirmed by email.

Re: Credit threshold topup "There has been an issue; please consult your system administrator&q

Good morning @colinsmithathom,

Sorry to hear this has not been changed, I can see why, and it's because we believe we could save you money by switching you over to the Unlimited UK & Mobile Call plan.

I did try to call you to discuss this but I couldn't get through on any of the contact numbers.

What I have done is added a ticket onto your account explaining the call plan and if you could update the ticket with whether you want to move to that call plan or just have the threshold increased then I can action this.

Also, the 0330 123 9123 number is a free to call number, there should be no reason you are getting charges for this. The 0800 432 0200 number just redirects you to our 0330 number.

Here is the link to the ticket so you can let us know: https://www.plus.net/wizard/?p=view_question&id=246235511

Thanks, Lex

Note: All calls on a calls included plan are limited to 60 minutes, thereafter they are charged at the published tariff.  If you chat for ages on the phone (calling mum) then set a timer for 55 minutes, hang up and call back.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.
