Correcting address on Openreach database

Switching from Sky to John Lewis. got a call from Plusnet to say OpenReach ORDI Request was needed and to contact Sky. Frustrating few calls with Sky. They eventually decided it was down to plusnet.

Others seem to have got fixed on here. Anyone able to help?

Thanks

Re: Correcting address on Openreach database

Hi there.

It sounds like there's a records issue on the Openreach systems, which is preventing your new provider from taking over the service from your current provider. It'd ultimately be down to your current provider to correct this.

The way they should be able to do that is by sending an e-mail to the OpenReach Data Integrity (ORDI) robot.

In these situations, the gaining (new) provider would be unable to progress this as it's the responsibility of the current provider of the line to keep the records up to date.

I'm sorry that we can't be of more help.

Thanks for the reply.  Sky say they've sent the ORDI request but it was rejected.

Re: Correcting address on Openreach database

There isn't much that the new/gaining provider can do I'm afraid.

Address records can only be updated by the current provider of the line.
