Contract ends 2nd September

My contract ends 2nd sept, thus free to change suppliers

I've just had notice that I will be charged an early termination fee because I'm in contact, my  new broad band  supplier takes over after this date, so why I'm I being charged.

Hi @Mgdavies, thanks for getting in touch.

 

I am sorry for the confusion there has been, the email you have been sent has been sent from our automated system and the charge is based on if the account was to cancel today. As you're moving following the expiration of the contract you won't face this early termination fee. I appreciate the email you have received is not very clear and I do apologise for any confusion caused.
