Contract end date

Hi,

I cannot find the end date for my Plusnet contract. I have found the Account Summary page which lists a £30 cessation fee (although I'm not sure this applies anymore, given other forum posts here) but no joy with finding a contract end date.

Can someone help me out please?

@spiffytheseal I don't know if you've seen my reply to this query elsewhere, but if you log in to your account what do you see on the landing page? Below is what I see.

Re: Contract end date

Thanks for the quick reply @jab1. I see the below - I seem to be missing the bar underneath "My Contract".

Re: Contract end date

@spiffytheseal

There seems to be a bug in the page shown by  @jab1 as others have reported that even though they know they are in contract, there is no date shown on the new portal home page.

So it isn't 100% Plusnet proof.

Have a look again in the "Account Summary" page. Look at the line for your broadband product and does it have a value on that same line saying "termination fee" in the "Cost" column inside brackets. There will always be the current cost in that field but if you are still in contract there will be the early termination costs shown too.

As I'm out of contract, my account summary looks like this for the product and cost columns- (no extra costs shown)

Unlimited Fibre Extra £23.49(monthly)

Re: Contract end date

Thanks again for the reply. I have a £30.00 (upon cancellation) fee, which has a product of "Cessation charge".

Re: Contract end date

@spiffytheseal Ignore that "Cessation charge" - It no longer applies, but hasn't been amended on certain types of account.

Re: Contract end date

As jab1 said, ignore "Cessation fee" line. It is no longer valid.

It is the other lines for your phone line rental and your broadband product where any early termination costs will be shown in brackets after the monthly cost in the Cost column.

My example posted above shows no early termination costs, just the monthly cost for my broadband. And that is because I am out of the minimum part of the contract so have no early exit fees if I leave.
