Contract Renewal Changes Speed

When I try and renew contract the only option is the slower band rather than the up to 72Mbps I get now.

Does this mean I can't renew at current speeds?

@WhereInSussex

Rather than accept this deal you would be better off looking up a competitive price then ringing Plusnet, selecting the I'm thinking of leaving option and do a bit of old fashioned haggling based on the competitors price.

Re: Contract Renewal Changes Speed

Thanks for getting in touch @WhereInSussex

I believe this is because the fibre extra package you're on is named "Plusnet Unlimited Fibre" and the particular system that makes you a renewal offer looks to be confusing this with the basic fibre package Unlimited Fibre.

I've attempted to fix this however unfortunately I've not been able to, so I'd recommend calling our customer options team on 0800 013 2632 and they'll be happy to discuss a new deal on fibre extra with you and put that through.

[edit]

If you can PM me a contact number and when you'd be available for a call I'll be happy to arrange a call back though

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
