Confused about VMBU

It's the morning of the 27th December 2011 (hope you all had a good Christmas!).
I'm looking at the "View Your Broadband Usage" page, and there's something I don't quite understand here.
1). It says  "Usage from the last 2 hours is not shown on this page"
2) I've used 71.42MB
3) It's 9:01am
OK so my daughter's been watching Youtube since 8:37, yeah. But 2 hours ago is 7am, which is prior to the 8am-Midnight Allowance Period.  How come the VMBU doesn't show zero?
A tortoise? What's that?
You know what a turtle is? Same thing.

Re: Confused about VMBU

It's 'internet noise' which everyone gets... this is pings/port scans/scammers trying to find ways into your network... which is happening all the time.

Such noise can be minimised by use of the Plusnet "Broadband Firewall". (See Member Centre).

1). It says  "Usage from the last 2 hours is not shown on this page"

Additionally, that message doesn't mean exactly what it says - a better way of putting it would be "Usage from the last 2 hours may not be shown on this page".

Thanks spraxyt!  I'll take that as the explanation then. And congratulations on being the only person who actually seemed to understand what I'd asked!  Wink
