Coming to end of 1 yr deal on phone and broadband, not heard from plusnet.

Hello
Transferred broadband from BT on 24th Dec 2013 and phone came across early January.
Got broadband for £1.99 a month for a year, so its due to go up to full price in a few weeks.
I'm not expecting Plusnet to contact me with a new deal, as this is business, after all.
My question is, as an existing customer, will I be eligible to be transferred onto any of the
current offers that are being advertised for standard broadband.
There's a one for £2.50 a month which looks interesting.
If I'm eligible, who would I need to ring to arrange it?
Thanks
Joe

You won't be eligible for the new customer offers, but if you give the Customer Options Team a call, they can usually come up with something for you.  When I called back in June when I also wanted to upgrade to fibre, they gave me a very good deal!

Copy and paste faster - the amount of actual typing was minimal...  Cool

how did this go?  I was about to ask a very similar question(taking on a new adsl contract, then with the possibility of moving to fibre should it eventually come to my area)

The offers might be slightly different between different accounts, this is due to contract length, exchange market area, current account type etc. The best way to see what we can offer you is to give us a call.

Re: Coming to end of 1 yr deal on phone and broadband, not heard from plusnet.

I found plusnet customer service to be both prompt and excellent.i was thinking of switching the broadband to bt for their basic broadband service as i have their bt basic phone package.the rental is cheap but found call costs large,a 25 min landline call costing £3.85 but £4.50 is inclusive.
it looks as if the plusnet 10gb/unlimited overnight has now sadly been dropped as its a great value package at £5.99 a month. plusnet offered £2.50 a month for unlimited subject to a new 12 month contract, but coming off the £5.99 deal would likely mean there's no going back.
