Chaning bill date

Last week I purchased 12 month plusnet broadband for a new appartment that I'll be moving into at the end of this month. I thought I might get the option to choose a date for activation (to avoid cutting off anyone currently living there) however, the option didnt come up. I tried messaging an admin to get the date pushed back however it's been a week and have had no replies. Further to this my payments say that the intial payment was made when I initally made the purchase (and the payment left my bank) yet it still says that my next payment date will be the date which it was already taken out on? Because of this I cant change the billing date which is the only way I can see of changing the activation date short of assistance from Plusnet. Any advice for this? Thanks very much
