Changes to Account Holder Name following Bereavement

Following the death of a friend, I have been trying to help his widow update their PN Broadband account. See Questions 69294151 and 69108170 for details.
All that is now required is for the User Name (NOT the UserID) to be changed. I have forwarded a copy of my friend's death certificate more than 48 hours ago together with his widow's name. The name change requires less than 48 seconds to complete.
Would someone please look at Question 69294151 and expedite the required amendment.

Sad to hear of your loss, but you may be interested to read what BT require in such circumstances, compared to PlusNet.
(I dealt with them when my father died and they were most helpful and acted immediately)

Quote The BT account holder has died
Call us on 0800 169 1663 and we'll sort everything out. Opening hours are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday..
Please have the following details to hand when you call:
•The account number and the name of the account holder
•The action you want BT to take, for example:
- changing the name of the account holder
- closing the account
- removing one name from a joint account
•Your name and address
•Your relationship to the deceased
We don't need to see the death certificate.
