Changeover date.

Hello,
My BT 12 month contract for phone and broadband end on March 16th 2016.
I telephoned and spoke to Plusnet sales on February 19th 2016 and paid for my line rental in advance and the telephone and broadband service from Plusnet is due to start on March 17th 2016.
A couple of days later BT confirmed the changeover date of 17th March by email and letter.
Plusnet has since sent me an email saying,
"Your broadband order is now being processed.
Your service is due to go live on 18/03/2016. Your order could complete any time on this date, up to midnight."
Just wondering why Plusnet has changed the changeover date by a day.
I would rather not be without an internet connection for an extra day.

Hi greengrass,
I have checked the order and this is committed for the 17/03/2016 and can take up to midnight to complete. The message you have received is for the full account activation which will be confirmed on the 18th.
Everything is going through as planned and you should receive minimal down time.
