Change from value fibre to extra fibre

Hello!
I'm confused.  Can you help?
Im partway through my 18 month value fibre contract and I'm thinking of changing to extra fibre - because 40gb isnt enough for me.  Any way, according to the terms and conditions, this would start a new 18 month contract?!
Surely this must be some kind of mistake?  Shocked

Oh - ok... what does this mean then:
"Changing to and from Fibre broadband products
•Changing from one fibre product to another
You'll start a new 18 month contract (new deferred contract). The usual house move rules also apply. "

There seems to be quite a bit of 12 months and 18 months mentioned there Undecided

Re: Change from value fibre to extra fibre

Hi there,
It's something we'll be changing shortly, there's a problem open with our content team already (ref. 68588)
With regard to fibre changes, you can change product but it won't alter the contract, if you've eight months left when you change you'll still have eight months left to run after the product change.
