Cessation charge

I've very recently taken a deal to stay with Plusnet which invoved an upgrade from Value to Unlimited @ a reduced sub. for 12 months.
Had a look at Account details page for the first time since, and to my surprise,noticed that the cessation charge which used to be £25 is now reading zero with a Cancelled status.Is this because I've agreed to a 12 month contract ie will it return to £25 in July 2014 with a status of Active???

Re: Cessation charge

Hi there,
Looks very odd - I'm guessing something happened when the account changed over, though I'm not sure why it removed the contracts like that. I'll get one of our specialists to take a look and see if we can find out what's going on, thanks very much for the heads up.

Re: Cessation charge

I believe it should, but it's definitely showing correctly on our side of things. I suspect it'll update soon, though please let us know if it doesn't.

[Censored]   tied me into a new contract and so i have to buy my way out well [Censored]

That was rather rude hijacking someone elses post to spout forth a load of profanities !
Maybe start another post with your issues in and let one of the support staff take responsibility for it ?

Re: Cessation charge

@jonnyvanwillis
Sorry to hear you feel that way, the package you have signed to would incur cancellation charges if you decide to leave now.
I've checked over your connection and it seems that your line is performing well, I'm happy to take a look over your connection if you're still experiencing issues.

I don't suppose that 'offer' is open to others?  Lips_are_sealed

Re: Cessation charge

It's showing as £0 because it's been cancelled off your account, not sure why yet though, I'll take a look.
Your services charges are £8.49 per month.
