Cashback offer from the plusnet main page - 2010

Hello there,
I signed up for plusnet in November 2010. I was looking for cheap broadband and on the Martin Lewis - Money Saving Expert page was a recommendation that plusnet were doing cheap broadband plus cash back - through plusnet - /not/ through a 3rd party site.
The image banner on the main page had a 'curled over page' look to it at the top right.
I signed up and called a customer service rep to find out how the cash back is paid, who told me that it would be a cheque sent to my home address after 6 months.
We are 6 months into the account and the cheque should be on its way. So i raised a supoprt question to ask this question. My message and the support response are below...
Can anyone help?!

The offer which you are referring to would of been one through a 3rd party sign up company as we've never done an offer such as this.

As such please contact the company you signed up with in regards to receipt of your cheque.

Hi GarryR,
I'm sorry to say it looks like that there may have been some confusion here I'm quite certain that we've never directly done a cashback offer that's not done through a 3rd party affiliate site.

We only do this for referral payments, however I'm going to speak to someone else at this end just to double check what I'm saying...

I've found the information, and it was through another site... it was a moneysupermarket offer.
100% my mistake.
