Hi,we currently on option 3 for and pay £31.99 (inc line rental) for broadband (30GB limit) and evenings/weekends phone, you are currrently advertising 60GB and talk anytime for £29.99 (inclusive of line rental) I have attempted to switch online and all I get is a page showing me three broad band options with mine at £19.99 already being highlighted.
Plusnet have a record of keeping you on higher tariffs when cheaper ones are introduced as it has occurred previously, looking around BT offer unlimited download, free wifi and talk anytime for £3 less than we pay for a far inferior product.
Is it worth staying after nearly 10 years?

The phone and broadband are separate and the phone part isn't an upgrade
When you go to the upgrade broadband section do you see your present package, Value and Extra or three versions of your present package.
If three versions of your present package the change would need to be done manually. Note the variable pricing on Value and Extra (it is higher on a Market 1 exchange)
Plusnet do not move customers between packages automatically as they may not suit.

When you are on the page showing the Broadband My Way options is there not a button labelled "Change my products"?

So select Extra which is the package you want and then take up the phone as part of the upgrade procedure - see the header from this screen grab
Do Plusnet provide your phone package at present. If so then to get the lowest price you would need to take out the 12 months line rental in advance. If you are with another provider for your phone you would first need to check your present contract

Quote from: vegasking Plusnet have a record of keeping you on higher tariffs when cheaper ones are introduced as it has occurred previously,
The truth is that Plusnet have a record of sending everyone notification of new products but don't automatically change people in case there is a particular reason why they wish to stay on their existing packages. If people don't read and act on the marketing emails (or have opted out of receiving them) it's their fault not Plusnet's!
