Cannot pay bill online or over phone

I have tried 5 times to pay my bill online and keep getting the error message “Sorry we are not able to complete this request at the moment. Please try later”

I called Plusnet and was told that they are getting the same error message so can not take payment over the phone or set up a direct debit.

So how am I supposed to pay?
