Cancelling Service

My fourth attempt to try to cancel by phone.

20 minutes on hold twice, then had to disconnect as was going into a meeting.
25 minutes finally answered then they hung up on me when I said I wanted to cancel.
on hold again for another 12 minutes so far and still not answered.

Is the only way to cancel really via snail mail?
This is an ISP there is no way to cancel online?
I guess plusnet is just like any other ISPs, claiming customer service is a high priority, but it is just an empty marketing ploy

and then after 23 minutes on hold it disconnected again!

Which number did you ring? 0800 013 2632, the Customer Options Team, is normally answered quickly.

after 6 hours a total of 1.5 hours on hold, I finally managed to cancel it.
Not the best customer service, even for an ISP.
