Cancelling Account

After careful consideration, I'm changing my provider from Plusnet to BT. I've provided BT with the MAC Key that Plusnet sent, do I need to do anything more? I tried calling customer services but was told there would be a minimum wait of 30 minutes before being spoken to----not too impressive!

Nothing at all - it should happen automatically
However once the broadband and phone have moved to BT you should raise a ticket advising that it has happened just in case the automatic notification system hasn't worked properly

I've not needed to come here for advice very often but whenever I have there's always been a prompt and helpful response----maybe I'll be back to Plusnet--who knows?Huh

Just for the record I left BT for having to wait 20 minutes and then speaking to India who had no clue what I was on about.
