I have changed the router as the Thomson one is a load of ......... and its a bit quicker...still only getting 3mb downloads and 300k upload speed with a 45m Ping... really slow service compared to what I am used to!
Looking to get out of Plusnet ASAP but think I have to wait until May.....unless you guys can sort out my speeds?!

Hi mmalh0151,
Your SNR is currently 16dB, so that will be causing your sync to be lower. How is your kit set up? Are you using any extension cables/sockets?

Hi, straight from the main master socket. Only a home phone and router connected to it, via microfilter of course

Just checked, no test socket and internet on laptops and iphones is getting very very slow... Almost 56k!

connections to iPhone and laptops will be wireless, so that's a totally different issue. How long has your set up been like that and when did the slow speeds start?

When i joined plusnet i noticed slower speeds but i didnt have an extra laptop or iphones at the time.
The new router works better as expected but it does hang sometimes
