Re: Cancellation costs and final payments

If you were to cancel the service rather than migrate an additional £30 would be chargeable as a cessation fee.

Re: Cancellation costs and final payments

i know that but is it just £20.60 or is there a fee for breaking the contract or does that not apply to migrating customers?

Re: Cancellation costs and final payments

If you are transferring to SKY then the cessation fee would apply. This is because SKY operates on a different network to our network and this means that we need to cease our service so that SKY can start their service.

Re: Cancellation costs and final payments

It will depend which type of Sky service you are migrating to I guess, and possibly whether this is broadband only or BB & phone.
Most of their services are full LLU, but not all.
It's not entirely clear what is "ceased" though....
It's also interesting to note that PlusNet charge a £25 "Activation fee" when you join so it seems odd to also charge when you leave - wouldn't that be a "joining fee" payable to the new supplier?  Cry

I'm moving my broadband and phone to sky and the package I'm moving to is up to 16mb standard broadband
