I have recently signed up to FTTP broadband from BT as this is a service that is currently not offered by Plusnet. I was assured by the person on the phone that as I was upgrading from FTTC to FTTP with another BT Group company I would not be charged to end my contract with Plusnet early. I specifically clarified this as I was aware that my current contract isn't due to end until December 2022. To my surprise almost exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes later I receive an email from you detailing the £155.07 I would be billed to leave early. Please could somebody look into this as I was specifically assured that this would not be the case.
