Can't login in my account - what going on?

I haven't changed my username and password with plusnet for my account of broadband, phone line and anytime calls.

 

Today it say it incorrect username or password? Is it plusnet system login problem at their end?

 

Is anyone else got the same problem as me?

Plusnet Broadband log in and Firefox Browser

Since about 17-2-23 I have been unable to log in to Plusnet Broadband account, receiving message "username or password are incorrect" whether entered manually or from password manager.

I can log in using Microsoft Edge Browser or my mobile phone. Firefox is my preferred browser.

I contacted Customer Support and was told to contact Firefox. After some research I found many Plusnet Community Users had got the identical problem starting 1-10-22. When the messages got to No 57 on 5-10-22 Bob Pullen, Community Gaffer and Plusnet Product Team member was able to post that the problem had been fixed.

I told Customer Support about that today and after contacting a supervisor the very helpful and patient lady I was speaking with advised me to use the Plusnet Community.

Is there anyone who can activate that fix again please - or has another solution?

Just updated: won't work with current firefox version 110.0.1 for some reason!

 

Working with Google Chrome version 110.0.5481.178

 

I don't understand why firefox is the one won't work!

Not necessarily a Plusnet issue, otherwise there would be more than one person reporting it.

The “fix” was on the web page itself, nothing to set on the browser.

It must be a new issue, possibly with your browser setup, unless more people report the same problem (none others so far).
What is your current setup with Firefox? Version, add-ons and OS, also any antivirus software being used?

Could be a new issue, @RPMozley  - Golenfibre/Goldenlady have reported the same issue, but it works OK on my Canonical build of FF110.0.1 on Linux.

Fails with that message on the iPad version, though.

Working fine for me on FF110.0.1 as well.

With it just being you impacted as it stands, and others confirming it's working I do have to agree with jab1. Very possible this is neither a PN or a FF issue, but rather related to your particular browser itself.

We know it isn't the member centre itself, it isn't basic Firefox or something on your broadband connection itself so I'd check your side for any settings, browser extensions and so on that are active that could be causing issues.

Clearing cache and cookies can sometimes clear things like this as well.

Always worth if at all possible if you have another device with the same browser, see if it works there and if it does, see what settings are different.
