'Broken' account, fake call?

Just been called by someone claiming to be from plusnet and my account is broken so need to setup a new one.

 

Don't know if this was genuine so put the phone down.

She was quite rude that I didn't trust her.

@RyanL987 Are you having any problems? Did the number come up as 'Withheld'? Are there any Questions/Tickets on your account?

Without saying for definite that this was a spam call, it does sound a little suspicious.

Wow plusnet have dropped the ball with my house move. Four months after moving and setting up a new account they are telling me they have messed up and i need to do it all again

'Componets' are broken apparently so i need a whole new account loosing all my history with them

Very strange for PN staff - I've always found them polite and friendly, but I suppose everyone can have an 'off' day - I know I did when I was working, although I tried not to show it when talking to customers.

Sorry to hear that @RyanL987,

 

It sounds like you received a procedural call so apologies if you had reservations about the agent who called you. I can see we have since spoken to you so hopefully the issue is resolved however please don't hesitate to come back to us if you need any further assistance.
