Broadband contract renewal discrepancy

I've just renewed our broadband contract but there is a big discrepancy between the amounts I have on the 'Upgrade Complete' screen in my account and the email I just received confirming the broadband contract renewal.

THE EMAIL SAYS:

"Your special offer price
From 05/05/2020, your monthly subscription will be £35.99 for 18 months.

Following this your monthly subscription will be £43.98.

Please note: This does not include the cost of any Add-Ons, call costs or call features.

BUT the 'Upgrade Complete' screen in my account says:

"New package price: £16.00 per month (£23.99 per month after 18 months).

I have already renewed our Line Rental today at a cost of nearly £200.

My current (about to expire) broadband contract is £15.99 for Unlimited Fibre and £8.00 for anytime calls plus any extras. This is a HUGE difference to £35.99!!

I'm very confused, please help.

Re: Broadband contract renewal discrepancy

I did point out that I had renewed our Line Rental today at a cost of nearly £200. Are you saying that Plusnet are going to charge me twice?
